When is the wedding weekend?
- Date: June 20-22, 2025
When is the wedding?
- Date and Time: Saturday, June 21, 2025, in the mid-afternoon.
Where is the wedding?
- Location: Linda and David Plunkett’s home in the Boulder Heights neighborhood of Boulder, Colorado.
Will there be transportation to the wedding?
- Yes! This is very important. We’re running two shuttle groups from Hotel Boulderado (2115 13th St, Boulder, CO) to the ceremony and back—Team Kenzie departs at 1:00 PM and returns at 9:00 PM, while Team Brown Dogs departs at 2:00 PM and returns at 10:00 PM. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Please see here which bus you are on →
When should I arrive?
- For those traveling from out of town, we recommend arriving on Friday, June 20, 2025, to fully enjoy the weekend events.
Where should I stay?
- We recommend staying in downtown Boulder or nearby areas. Check out our Travel and Accommodations page for specific hotel recommendations.
Are kids invited?
- The wedding itself is adults-only. However, we’re happy to welcome the whole family to the other weekend events.
Can I bring a friend?
- Due to limited space at our venue (Linda and David Plunkett’s home), we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your RSVP. We truly wish we could invite everyone! If you think we’ve made a mistake or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’d love to hear from you.
What should I wear?
The dress code is cocktail attire meets garden party (learn more here). While we encourage you to dress your best, please ensure you’re comfortable—the event will be held outdoors with grass, stairs, and slopes. We highly recommend wearing capable shoes such as block heels or flats instead of pointy heels.
Is there a registry?
- Yes, you can find our registry here.
Will food be provided?
- Yes! Dinner and snacks will be served at the wedding.
Will there be drinks?
- Of course! We’ll have a variety of beverages available throughout the evening. We'll have some custom cocktails, beer, and wine as well as the full suite of nonalcoholic beverages. Also remember to drink plenty of water if you're coming from sea-level.
Do I need to bring anything to the wedding?
- Maybe an umbrella. Afternoon rainstorms are common in Colorado during the summer. While we’ll have plenty of tents and cover, it’s good to be prepared. Keep in mind this is an outdoor wedding.
Where should I fly into?
- The nearest airport is Denver International Airport (DIA), which offers convenient and direct flights from many locations.
Do I need to rent a car?
- No, renting a car is not necessary. Boulder is very walkable and bike-friendly, and we’ll provide shuttles for the wedding. Check our Travel and Accommodations page for details on getting around.
What if I have more questions?
- Reach out to Joey or Macy directly via text, phone, or email. You can email Joey at joeyplunkett[at]gmail.com.
