Dispatch #v5.0

Event Details

Below is the outline for the wedding weekend as we currently understand it. Some start and end times might get tweaked as we get closer to the date, so please check back here at least once in June to make sure you’ve got it all sorted.

Please make sure to review the Wedding FAQ's before attending.

Date and Location

Wedding Weekend: June 20-22, 2025
Location: Boulder, Colorado

For information about getting to Boulder and where to stay, please visit our Travel and Accommodations page.

Thursday, June 19, 2025: Optional Early Fun

Time: Around 5:30 PM (flexible)
Location: Various — see details below

Details:
If you’re getting into town early, we’ve got a few low-key options lined up for Thursday night!

In Boulder:
We’re planning to head to Rosetta Hall for a casual dinner and drinks, starting around 5:30 PM. After that, some folks may wander to The Attic next door to catch Game 6 of the NBA Finals or pop over to Bitter Bar for a nightcap. We’ll keep plans flexible—it’s a travel day for many—so just keep an eye out for updates.

In Denver:
There’s a crew heading to the Grizzly Rose to learn how to line dance—hell yes. If that’s your vibe, text Joey for details. He’ll be in Boulder but helping coordinate the Thursday fun across both cities.

Friday, June 20, 2025: Welcome Drinks

Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Wild Provisions by 4 Noses Brewing Company
2209 Central Ave, Boulder, CO 80301

Details:
We’re kicking off the weekend with a casual evening at Wild Provisions for those travling in from out of town and the wedding party!

Join us for free beer, light snacks, and great company. We'll have a great Detroit-style pizza food truck there providing food if you’re feeling hungry.

For Wedding Party Members:
Rehearsal begins at 5:00 PM up at the house. Please let us know in advance if you can’t attend.

Saturday, June 21, 2025: The Wedding

Time: 3:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Location: The Plunkett House, Boulder, CO

Details:
The wedding will take place at a beautiful and exclusive private event space—aka Linda and David Plunkett’s home. The evening will feature a heartfelt ceremony, delicious dinner, lovely drinks, and dancing under the Colorado night sky.

The requested wedding attire is cocktail dress meets garden party (read more here). Come looking your best, but please ensure you’re comfortable. Since the wedding is taking place in the mountains, there will be some stairs and slopes to navigate. If you’re deciding between two pairs of shoes, we recommend choosing the more practical option. For ladies, block heels or flats are highly encouraged as much of the event will take place on grass.

Finally, we're requesting that this is an adults-only wedding. We're happy to host the entire family for the rest of the weekend events.

Shuttle Information:
Shuttles will take guests to and from the venue from a central location in Boulder. We’ll be sharing the full shuttle schedule—including your assigned departure time—in our early June update.

To make things a little more fun (and to keep everything running smoothly), each guest will be assigned to either Team Kenzie Dog (named after our beloved pup—featured in Part Three of our story) or Team Brown Dogs (a nod to Joey’s parents’ legendary chocolate labs, Illy and Sadie). Each team will have its own scheduled shuttle time.

Please see the schedule (and your assigned bus) here, or by downloading the Guestlist app which we'll be using to coordinate the weekend, upload photos, and share the event schedules.

Because seating is limited and the schedule is tightly coordinated, it’s important to arrive on time for your assigned shuttle. If you miss your ride, there may not be enough space on the next trip to get you to the ceremony.

Parking at the venue is extremely limited, and we kindly ask all guests to use the provided transportation. If there’s a circumstance that makes the shuttle unworkable, feel free to reach out—we appreciate everyone helping us keep things simple and on schedule.

Post-Wedding:
After the festivities, shuttles will return you to Boulder. For those ready to keep the party going, join us for a night out on the town! We'll be going to the Bohemian Biergarten then bar hopping on Pearl Street afterwards.

Note for those that want something late at night to eat - Bohemian Biergarten has great German food!

Sunday, June 22, 2025: Sunday Hang

Start Time: 10:30am to 12:30pm(ish)
Location: Rayback Collective, Boulder, CO

Details:
We'd love to see you for a relaxed post-wedding hang! We've reserved the indoor space at the Rayback Collective, a lovely beer garden and coffee shop with beautiful outdoor space and stunning views of the Rockies just outside of downtown Boulder. We'll be serving breakfast tacos (with vegetarian and gluten-free options available), along with coffee and hair-of-the-dog drinks. Our reservation ends at 1 p.m., but we’ll likely keep hanging out as the food trucks roll in around that time, offering lunch options for anyone who wants to stay longer.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you and make this a weekend to remember! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out by emailing us at joeyplunkett[at]gmail.com.

See you in Boulder!
